While some people are embarrassed when restaurant staff stop by to sing a classic song to them on their birthday, a Cracker Barrel customer received a performance of the song that another customer referred to as’ the best ever. ”
Jared Gravatt, a resident of Marion, Illinois, received a happy surprise when his waiter delivered him a lovely version of Happy Birthday earlier this month, captivating the restaurant.
Gravatt, who said he visits Crackel Barrel for breakfast about once a month, had family in town who took him for his birthday breakfast.
âMy dad likes to embarrass me and told the waitress it was my birthday, she said she would blackmail someone happy birthday,â Gravatt said. Newsweek. “Suddenly, Miranda came to our table and started singing.”
âI was blown away,â he added.
“I think everyone was in shock. Her voice is amazing! She put on a show and gave it her all!” Gravatt said. “I felt so honored! I didn’t even care that people were watching.”
Gravatt shared a 48-second video of her special talent on her TikTok page, and the waitress has since gained fans all over the internet.
âWhen I left the building, I told my stepsister that I was going to upload the video to TikTok and tell people to find it and make it famous,â he said. Newsweek. “In a matter of days, the video recorded thousands of shares and millions of views.”
He captioned it: “Tiktok, find this girl and make her famous, please. Best birthday song ever !!” The video has nearly a million views and thousands of shares.
âIt was the best birthday I have ever heard,â you can hear people say at the end of the video.
âIt went from Ariana Grande to Christina Aguilera to Whitney Houston in forty-five seconds,â one user commented.
Another asked Gravatt: “Have you fallen in love?”
âWhen you’ve tapped your heart, the best version and the reaction! Hope you had a great birthday,â commented another.
The restaurant also shared the video on its Facebook page, writing, âWe always want you to feel taken care of when you visit. Well done, Miranda, who brought down the house with this performance! â
Gravatt, who wants Miranda’s voice to be recognized by the world, ended up meeting her and chatting with her after the performance.
âShe was truly the nicest person! She has such a genuine heart!â Said Gravatt Newsweek.
