Thom Yorke shared a new 100 minute mix for Sonos Radio, featuring Madlib, Black Midi and more.
The Radiohead frontman has shared mixes for the radio station online over the past year, and the fifth edition has now arrived.
After sharing a new mix in January with Ennio Morricone, Yaeji, Mark Pritchard and others, Radio Hour’s fifth mix also features tracks from Aldous Harding, MODESELEKTOR, Tom Waits and more.

Elsewhere, earlier this month, Thom Yorke shared a new “(Very 2021 Rmx)” of the Radiohead classic “Creep”, which sees Yorke slowing down the acoustic version of the track considerably, stretching it just under. four minutes to nine minutes, and add some weird synths.
The new ‘Creep’ remix premiered during Takahashi’s ‘Creep Very’ fall / winter 2020-2021 UNDERCOVER collection in March, before getting its official release.
Earlier this year, Yorke kicked off a new project called The Smile alongside his Radiohead teammate Jonny Greenwood and Sons Of Kemet drummer Tom Skinner. The trio first performed at Glastonbury’s Live At Worthy Farm livestream in May.
Review the whole as part of the livestream, NME wrote: “Although they’ve been known to put their name to atmospheric, floating ambient music more than anything else in recent years, The Smile sees the Radiohead pair going straight to the neck: the handful of songs they debut tonight finds Yorke and Greenwood more melodic, approachable and angry than either of them has been in years.
