Both sides are experimental tracks, especially “Vessel”, which is more atmospheric audio than a traditional song. “Baby Leeches” almost follows in its footsteps, until vocals and a recurring melody come in halfway through. With its whispering background of spirit guides and crystal caves, “Vessel” feels like a window into another world. Troy freak-folk band’s Spotify bio cites Animal Collective, The Beatles, Unknown Mortal Orchestra and Radiohead as major influences.
