The Sammy Hagar Circle Tour Comes to the Jersey Shore in Atlantic City

Sammy Hagar has come full circle and the Jersey Shore is going to be scrutinized.
Hagar and the Circle, featuring Van Halen bassist Michael Anthony, Who drummer Jason Bonham and longtime Hagar guitarist Vic Johnson, has just announced the Crazy Times Tour, and shows include June 11 at the PNC Bank Arts Center in Holmdel.
Before that, the guys play March 11 at Caesars Atlantic City. Tickets, starting at $112, are available through Ticketmaster.
Tickets for the Crazy Times Tour will go on presale at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, January 25 to fan club members via redrocker.com and to the general public at 10 a.m. on Friday, January 28.
The setlist will include Hagar’s solo music and songs he performed with Van Halen and Montrose, including “I Can’t Drive 55”, “Right Now”, “There’s Only One Way To Rock”, “Mas Tequila” , “Why Can’t This Be Love”, “Heavy Metal” and “Your Love is Driving Me Crazy”.
Hagar managed Van Halen from 1985 to 1996. A Led Zeppelin song or two will also be performed in the show. Bonham’s father was famous Led Zep drummer John Bonham.
George Thorogood and The Destroyers will open all 14 shows, which begin June 10 in Bridgeport, Connecticut.
“A tour of this size has been a long time coming and it will definitely be worth the wait,” Hagar said in a statement. “The Circle and I are super excited and ready to throw the party of the year with George Thorogood. We’re going to take the music and party to a whole new level – ‘Crazy Times’ is an understatement.”
Hagar and the Circle have been together since 2014.
