So there were four – whose race ended?

Are Natalia and Arun the luckiest team in Incredible race the story? That, my friends, is up for debate, but let’s be clear: we’re here for them.

Last week, even host Phil Keoghan couldn’t remember another duo who had been given so many chances throughout the competition. Despite the fact that it took them a massive global pandemic to get their second shot, we’re just glad to see this carefree father/daughter duo still in the running. But did their luck run out on Wednesday when the race went to Greece? Let’s recap from the top and find out.

The teams leave the French island of Corsica to head east to Thessaloniki, Greece, where they must go to an olive grove to search for their next clue. And although the cars provided to them have a stick shift, there are no mass stress-induced panics… this time.

Kim and Penn are the first to find the information on the road, which tells them to head to Nea Gonia for their next clue, but the flight attendants are right behind them. Like clockwork, Natalia and Arun are worried about the navigation part of this stage.

ROAD BLOCK | In “Who Wants to Wrap?” players must compose a plate of 60 dolmades using rice, vegetables, spices and vine leaves. As Dusty tells us that his “extracurricular activities in Colorado” will surely help him, Kim realizes that half of her sheets are poorly wrapped and arranged. She corrects her mistakes and becomes the first player to get the next clue.

Dusty’s experience rolling a different type of green gives him a clue, while Raquel is busy fastening her seatbelt in the Struggle Bus. His missteps allow Arun and Natalia to leave the stewardesses in their dust.

ROUTE INFORMATION |

Teams must now race to Mamo’s Cantina stand, where they must spell the word “souvlaki”, pick up some dishes, and discover that their next clue is hidden in the wrapper. Kim and Penn arrive at the food truck first, and Kim nails the spelling bee. They eat their whole souvlaki sandwich… and then throw away their packaging! Penn understands this and they rush to St. George’s Church.

Raquel and Cayla earn big time, beating both the twins and the father/daughter duo at the truck. Natalia and Arun, however, have no idea how to spell “souvlaki”, so they set off to seek help from a kind Greek gentleman. As they scramble, the twins find the Pit Stop before they find Mamo’s!

ROAD BLOCK | The YouTubers continue to lead the pack, arriving first at the Road Block. In “Who Wants to Be Iconic?” teams must correctly identify five saints in the correct order after listening to a priest’s sermon. Penn’s ADHD gives him a feeling of hyper-focus, which he says can really help him absorb information. When he takes his first quiz, he miraculously passes on the first try! (Seriously, it seemed hard.) And with that, Penn and Kim are Pit Stop-bound!

Ryan stops listening to the priest after the fifth description of Saint, not knowing that the lecture is many longer than that. During his second conference, he is joined by Cayla, and both riders realize they are going to be there for a while. As they try to stay awake during their theology lesson, Natalia catches up to them and joins them.

But back to Lulu and Lala. They don’t know how to spell the kitchen, so after asking a stranger to google it, they go back to eating their souvlaki. But they don’t realize the clue is on the package, so they order and eat a second one in the process. (Honestly? I’m not even mad. It looks delicious!) It’s not going well for the twins in pink, as we see Ryan and Dusty complete their test and race to the finish line .

STOP AT THE PIT | Unsurprisingly, the married couple come in first at Nea Kallikrateia, winning $7,500 each! (Plus, it’s their third straight win for those counting the score.) Raquel and Cayla place second, Dusty and Ryan third. The last to the mat are however Lulu and Lala, and unfortunately they are eliminated from the race.

Are Kim and Penn unstoppable? Glad to see Natalia and Arun live to fight another day? Let us know your thoughts by dropping a comment below.
