REIMAGINED: Postmodern Jukebox brings national tour to Newcastle in September
The virus phenomenon Postmodern jukebox will bring its national tour to Newcastle in September.
With over 5 million subscribers on Youtubethe Postmodern Jukebox juggernaut has grown steadily over the past decade.
Of their interpretation of Radiohead Creep to their version inspired by Michael Jackson’s Cab Calloway Thriller and their re-imagining of the much-loved Friends theme, the multi-talented ensemble of singers and musicians continue to add to their legion of die-hard fans with each video and tour, particularly in Australia.
“Since our first trip Down Under in 2015, we’ve made Australia an annual stop on our tour itinerary and met some of the best audiences in the world,” said the bandleader, Scott Bradlee said.
“We were so sad to miss a few years of this annual tradition due to the pandemic, but we are delighted to announce that we will be back better than ever in 2022 for our sixth tour of the continent.”
The grand reopening tour promises surprise guests, making each stop on the tour unique and unpredictable, and performances of Bradlee’s most beloved renditions of modern music’s greatest hits.
Postmodern Jukebox will take the stage at the Civic Theater Newcastle with their The Grand Reopening tour on Tuesday 20th September. Tickets are on sale now at tegdainty.com.
