Press release : David Bowie Estate just announced a series of releases from David Bowie’s catalog that have been remixed and reimagined exclusively in 360 Reality Audio, a new immersive musical experience based on Sony’s spatialized sound technology.

In conjunction with the pursuit Bowie 75 – an extended celebration of David Bowie’s 75th birthday January 8, 2022longtime Bowie producer Tony Visconti designed 360 Reality Audio mixes from Heathen, Reality, A Reality Tour (Live), The Next Day and ★ (pronounced “Blackstar”). The albums will be available to stream in 360 Reality Audio starting January 21 on Amazon Music Unlimited, Deezer and TIDAL.

Additionally, the David Bowie Estate and Sony are launching four archival live performance recordings that have been mixed and reimagined in 360 Reality Audio (which helps to create a realistic music experience, giving listeners the feeling of being in a live concert setting). All four songs are taken from David Bowie’s A Reality Tour, with live audio and video recordings of Bowie’s latest concert tour, which will be broadcast live on 360 Reality Audio TODAY, JANUARY 6, 4:00 p.m. PST / 7:00 p.m. EST on the online platform “Sony Square” (via David Bowie’s YouTube Channel.)
