Warner Music has partnered with the NFT marketplace OpenSea to help record label artists do some of that Web3 stuff. “Community is fundamental to the DNA of music: it’s artists and fans coming together to celebrate the music they love,” said Oana Ruxandra, WMG’s Chief Digital Officer. “Our collaboration with OpenSea helps facilitate these communities by unlocking Web3 tools and resources to create opportunities for artists to establish deeper engagement, access and ownership.” Yeah whatever.
