Near-dead Joe Russo’s Closing Arena of the Year explosion in Colorado – on purpose this time

Joe Russo is almost dead, like all live bands, had an unusual year in 2021. Having started the year in a period of pandemic containment with no tour dates in sight, the Grateful death-The inspired outfit gradually made things turn around again with a socially distant residence in New Haven, CT’s Westville Music Bowl, a dedicated LOCKN ‘farm event and possibly a few “normal” theater dates.
As we approach the final month of 2021, JRAD prepares to end this roller coaster year in style: an arena blast in Broomfield, CO. 1st banking center this Friday, December 3, 2021, the group’s first Colorado show since summer 2019 at Amphitheater of the Red Rocks. [get tickets].
While the band has performed at 1stBank Center before, this will be the first time that the Joe russo-The led group performed there intentionally. In 2017, JRAD delivered a momentous show at 1stBank Center – the band’s debut in the arena – after an unusual snowstorm in late April pushed a planned Red Rocks concert indoors. In 2017, JRAD’s 1stBank Center trade fair was the result of a rapid adaptation to the unexpected. In 2021, after two long and bizarre years of nonstop pivoting and adaptation, the 1stBank Center show will mark the band’s triumphant return to Colorado in an utterly grandiose way.
