It’s the holiday season – and one of the staple shows that gets everyone in the Christmas spirit across the valley is Miracle on Easy Street.

The show will air on WFMJ on December 20 from 7 pm to 8 pm and Christmas Day from 8:30 am to 9:30 am. It will also air on 21 News’s sister station, WBCB on December 22 from 7 pm to 8 p.m. and again at Christmas from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m.

Easy Street Productions co-founder Todd Hancock joined 21 News for a 6:40 special to review what this year’s show has to offer. Those who love the holidays and the Mahoning Valley will be delighted with what he had to say.

“We’re going to celebrate Christmas, but we’re also going to celebrate Youngstown,” Hancock said.

Hancock went on to explain that the show was filmed at several locations this year, including the Arms Family Museum. He said the location was so nice that he didn’t need to build an additional stage.

“It’s just beautiful, said Hancock.“ It’s going to be beautiful on TV ”

Pioneer Pavilion in Mill Creek MetroParks and Powers Auditorium in Youngstown also lend themselves to production stages. St. James Meeting House at Boardman also serves as the setting for one of the musical numbers in the show.

The show will feature several new songs that audiences can expect to hear, including a mix of Peace on Earth and Little Drummer Boy that was originally sung by two of music’s most recognizable names: Bing Crosby and David Bowie.

Miracle on Easy Street airs a total of four times on WFMJ and WBCB over the next few weeks, a perfect way to take advantage of the holiday season.
