Mariah carey revealed that she had “reached out” to Britney spears during his tutorship. In an exclusive interview with NME, the Christmas Queen opened up. Mariah, who has worked in the music industry for over three decades, says she was shocked at the way Britney was treated.
She told the Daily Mail publication: âI think everyone on this planet deserves to be free and what they did to her, what I saw, was horrible. So I contacted her through a mutual friend because I wanted her to know, âGuess what? You’re not alone.’ However, Britney regained control of her legal affairs in early December, nearly a month after her longtime tutelage ended. During a procedural hearing, Judge Brenda Penny granted Britney the power to execute documents on her own. The pop star is finally able to sign his own papers.

“I remember when I was going through a lot of things years ago, Prince reached out to me and gave me a Bible and he talked to me for hours.” Meanwhile, Britney Spears called on celebrities to talk about her guardianship last month. She posted a video of Christina Aguilera at a red carpet event saying she “can’t” talk about Britney’s legal situation, but added, “but I’m happy for her!”
