Kaitlyn Bristowe’s transformation from 4 to 35
Kaitlyn Bristowe grew up in the small town of Leduc, Alberta. In a blog post, she confessed that she is not the biggest fan of the cold weather in this part of Canada. “For about 7 months, I hid indoors because I just couldn’t face the cold,” she wrote. Luckily, she found a way to entertain herself all the time she was locked inside – she revealed that she started dancing when she “was very little.” She enjoyed the activity so much that she told the Daily Hive that the dance studio had become her “home away from home”. Kaitlyn also loved figure skating. Luckily, her father was a hockey coach, which likely helped her gain access to an ice rink to train.
Kaitlyn described herself as “a bit of a drama queen” as a child. In her web series “9 to Wine”, she remembers turning 4 and discovering that a sure-fire way to make people laugh was to pull down your pants. It became her go-to thing when she got into trouble. “Now you can imagine that would be a problem at the grocery store,” she joked. She used her theatricality best when she began appearing in plays, including “West Side Story” and “Bye Bye Birdie”. But she ends up realizing that Leduc was not big enough for her ambitions.
