Jena Malone and Danny Huston to star in horror thriller ‘Consecration’
Los Angeles, October 7 (PTI) Actors Jena Malone and Danny Huston have joined the cast of the upcoming movie “Consecration”.
The supernatural horror thriller, which is currently filming in London and Scotland, will also be veteran actor Janet Suzman, Variety reported.
Directed by Christopher Smith, the film centers around the suspicious death of a priest, whose sister (Malone) travels to Mount Savior Convent in Scotland to find out what really happened to her brother, with the help of Father Romero. (Huston).
There, she soon uncovers murder, sacrilege, and a disturbing truth about her own dark past that brings to the surface a long-buried trauma.
Smith wrote the script for the film in collaboration with Laurie Cook. The film will be produced by AGC Studios, Xavier Marchand of Moonriver Content, and Jason Newmark and Laurie Cook of Bigscope Films.
Malone is most featured in David Bowie‘s biopic “Stardust” as Angel Bowie, as well as in the Amazon Prime Video series “Goliath”.
