Golden Knights fans start a brawl with Avalanche fans
Two Colorado Avalanche fans saw their night in Las Vegas go from bad to worse on Thursday.
Sitting in the front row watching their team get knocked out in Game 6 of the second round against the Golden Knights, they were already disappointed, but a Vegas fan decided to shake them up more.
As they wallowed in the misery of their fans, a fan in a blank “Reverse Retro” Vegas jersey – a terrible choice – tore off his avalanche flag which was hanging from the barriers in front of them.
Like a childhood tyrant, he fled with their flag and, of course, they pursued him, causing enormous disruption that forced other people to get involved in the physical altercation. It’s not clear who pushed who first or how it ended, but we all know that a Vegas fan looked like a jester probably ruining one of their first experiences of live sporting events in a very long time. .
The flag stealer sees his team advance to the conference finals and face the Montreal Canadiens, with the Tampa Bay Lightning and New York Islanders on the other side of the fork.
Hopefully no Habs fan present has a poster or something they can get their hands on.
