According to Laundrie’s lawyer Steven bertolino, police were called to the Laundrie family home on Friday evening to search their belongings and learn that Laundrie was not there.

According to Laundrie’s lawyer, his parents said they last saw him on Tuesday morning.

A spokesperson for the North Port Police Department said CNN on the air that evening that they are currently gathering all the information and that a statement will be made shortly.

Brian Laundrie’s disappearance comes just a day after new police footage was released showing officers speaking with him and his fiancee and travel influencer Gabrielle “Gabby” Petito after a potential domestic violence incident reported to them by the local authorities.
