Whether you’re looking to stay cozy indoors or take advantage of the wintry weather, there’s plenty to do this weekend in Bucks County.

Here are some of our top picks for the weekend.

Bowielive at Sellersville Theater

The band ‘The Ultimate David Bowie Tribute’ will be at the Sellersville Theater for a one night engagement on Saturday.

Formed in 2016, Bowielive perform all of the legendary rock star hits including Space Oddity, Fame, Let’s Dance, Rebel Rebel, Heroes, The Jean Genie, Changes, China Girl, All the Young Dudes, Modern Love and many more .

The Sellersville Theater requires proof of vaccine or proof of a negative COVID PCR test within 72 hours to attend this event.

Jazz at the Bucks County Playhouse

Bucks County Playhouse is celebrating hot jazz this weekend with two local jazz bands as part of the Guest Artist Series.

Founded in Stockton, NJ in 2018, the Rivertown Vintage Jazz Band plays vintage jazz popular in the 20s and 30s. They perform for one night only, at 8 p.m. on Fridays.

The Eric Mintel Quartet takes the stage at 8 p.m. Saturday. Featuring pianist and composer Mintel, sax/flute Nelson Hill, bass Jack Hegyi and drums Dave Mohn, the Quartet has been delighting audiences of all ages with their electrifying jazz for over 25 years.

The Eric Mintel Jazz Quartet will perform the music of David Brubeck on Saturday.

Two ticket options are available: $45 each for either show or $75 for a dinner-show package that includes a fixed price at the Playhouse’s restaurant, The Deck. Tickets and are on sale now at buckscountyplayhouse.org or contact the box office at 215.862.2121.

World of Weather Winter Adventure at Churchville Nature Center

Experience winter weather around the world with a variety of activities, crafts and exhibits at the Churchville Nature Center on Saturday and Sunday.

The halls of the visitor center will be transformed into the Australian savannah, the Antarctic polar desert and the cloud forests of Costa Rica for the third annual World of Weather Weekend.

Tickets are $5 per person; children under 3 are free. The Churchville Nature Center is located at 501 Churchville Lane and will be open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. both days.

Waterfront Drag Brunch

Join the region’s top drag talent and enjoy food and drink every Saturday and Sunday at Water’s Edge in Bensalem.

Shows start at noon; doors open at 11 a.m.

Scratch Kitchen with Carlie Grouser live at the Bishop Estate

Join musician Carlie Grouser for an acoustic performance and enjoy Scratch Kitchen food trucks on Saturday at Bishop Estate Vineyard & Winery, 2730 Hilltown Pike, Perkasie.

Grouser will play acoustic from 4-8 p.m. Food trucks will be on site from noon to 8 p.m. The estate’s tasting room will be open and will serve wine by the glass, on the fly or by the bottle.

Music and parking are free. Dogs are welcome but not allowed in the barn; children under 21 must be accompanied by a parent at all times.
