Def Leppard Previews Carnival-Inspired Music Video For New Single, “Kick”

Def Leppard at released a music video for “Kick”, the recently released lead single from the band’s 12th studio album, Diamond Star Halosdue out May 27.

The clip features the British rockers performing the catchy anthem inside a “Wall of Death” motorbike carnival for an audience of flamboyantly dressed circus performers and other glamorous misfits. You can watch the video now on the official Def Leppard website Youtube channel.

As stated earlier, Diamond Star Halos is a 15-track collection that is the band’s first album of new original material since the 2015 self-titled effort. pre-order it now as a deluxe package, a set of two LPs and digitally, among other configurations.

Diamond Star Halos features two duets with acclaimed country/bluegrass artist and longtime Def Leppard fan Alison Krauss – “This guitar” and “Without life”. Moreover, famous david bowie pianist mike garson performs on two songs – “Goodbye for Good This Time” and “Angels (Can’t Help You Now)”.

The album was recorded remotely during the COVID-19 pandemic, with frontman Joe Elliot drop his voice in Ireland, bassist Rick Wild recording his parts in the UK, and the guitarists Phil Collen and Vivi Campbell and drummer Rick Allen register their contributions in the United States

Diamond Star Halos will arrive before the 36 cities of Def Lepard Stadium tour from North America with Motley Crue, Poison and Joan Jett and the Black Hearts. The trek begins on June 16 in Atlanta and takes place as part of a concert on September 9 in Las Vegas.
