David Bowie revisits Black Tie White Noise in a preview of the Brilliant Adventure set


(hennemusic) David Bowie’s team revisits the late 1993 rocker’s album, “Black Tie White Noise”, prior to its inclusion in the new box set, “David Bowie 5. Brilliant Adventure (1992-2001)”.
Fans can watch an EPK (Electronic Press Kit) video of Bowie discussing the inspiration and influences behind UK No.1 record, and watch enhanced HD videos for the three singles in the set: “Jump They Say “,” Miracle Goodnight “and the title song.
âWhite noise itself is something I first encountered on the synth many years ago,â Bowie explained of the album title. âThere is black noise and white noise. I thought a lot of what white people say and do is white noise. Musician, wanting to write, was black music, black American music.
âI found it all very exciting – the aggressive feeling that came out of the arrangements. That’s what sparked my interest in black American music. It led me to the blues⦠for several years, I have worked with rhythm and blues groups, and my participation in them has formed my own black bonds in this area of ââmusic. “
âBlack Tie White Noiseâ has been remastered for the 2021 package, which is due November 26 and will be available in 11CD or 18LP editions and will also include newly remastered versions of 1993’s âThe Buddha of Suburbiaâ, âOutside,â by 1997 “Earthling” and “hours …” from 1999 as well as the extended live recording, “BBC Radio Theater, London, June 27,2000”, compilation without album / alternate version / B sides and soundtrack “Re: Call 5 “, and the new” Toy “.
