Christina Aguilera Reveals ‘La Fuerza’ Release Date and Tracklist – Billboard
Mark your calendars! Christina Aguilera is set to release her highly anticipated EP in Spanish on Friday January 21. The chart-topping artist – who had teased his upcoming collaboration with Ozuna – also teased La Fuerza‘s tracklist Wednesday (January 19) via Instagram.
Part of the EP is the Ozuna-assisted “Santo,” set to drop Thursday, along with the female anthem “Pa’ Mis Muchachas,” which features Nathy Peluso, Nicki Nicole, and Becky G. “The first chapter,” the Ecuadorian-American artist teased in the caption.
La Fuerza is the first of his three-part album, which will be released more than 20 years after his first Spanish effort, Mi Reflejo. This version debuted at #1 on Billboard‘s Top Latin Albums Chart in September 2000, and remained there for 19 weeks. The album also peaked at number 27 on the Billboard 200 chart.
“It’s a project I’ve wanted to follow for so long, but I’m so glad it’s happening now as a grown woman,” the 40-year-old singer-songwriter previously said. Billboard. “Having been a mother, having experienced the career that I have, I bring a different vision and set of passions. Now it comes from a deeper perspective and wants to explore.
“It can be intimidating and scary to introduce yourself in a way that you know is difficult. I don’t write in Spanish like I do in English, but I know my heart,” she continued. is a diaper journey i’ve been on, but now that i have kids i want them to see that mom doesn’t know everything. I’m still learning too and I’m not going to back down from something I’m really passionate about because I’m scared or scared of what people are going to think.
