Christina Aguilera Re-releases ‘Stripped’ To Mark Album’s 20th Anniversary

Christina Aguilera rolls out the red carpet for her fourth studio album, Barewhich turns 20 next week.
Not only is the powerhouse singer releasing a new version of her standout music video for “Beautiful,” but she’s also re-releasing the historic album and filling it with goodies.
On October 21, Christina will reissue Bare, which comes with new cover art and bonus tracks. A bonus track is the Benny Benassi remix of “Magnificent”. Another will be B-side “Dirrty”, a song called “I Will Be”.
The album will be available in all formats, from digital to vinyl, including the immersive 360RA and Dolby Atmos formats. The deluxe version of digital formats can be pre-recorded now on the official Christina website.
Additionally, Vinyl Me, Please will be released alongside an alternate 20th anniversary edition of Bare the 3 of March. The 2LP offering will come on 12-inch vinyl packaged in an exclusive gatefold sleeve upon release.
Ahead of the album’s release, Christina will re-release a new version of her “Beautiful” music video on October 19. The updated clip takes a hard look at the impossible beauty standards perpetuated by social media and how it damages self-esteem. According to a press release, the video “takes an artistic and symbolic approach to the delicate and complex issues surrounding contemporary perceptions of beauty.”
Bare was released on October 22, 2002. It was RIAA certified quadruple platinum and sold over 10 million copies worldwide.
