Chris and Rosie Ramsey’s ‘dreams come true’ as they sell Wembley
Chris and Rosie Ramsey had a real self-pitying moment on Monday night when they sold out at Wembley.
After delighting two packed homes at Newcastle’s Utilita Arena last week, the South Shields couple are bringing the show live from their award-winning Sha * ged Married Annoyed podcast across the UK.
Nottingham had a slice of the SMA action late last week, then the start of a new week took Chris and Rosie to the stage at SSE Arena, Wembley, where again there was no room as they starred in a packed house in the famous venue, which has hosted in the past Robbie Williams, Queen, Christina Aguilera and Little Mix, the latter of course including other South Shields stars Jade Thirlwall and Perrie Edwards.

Chris and Rosie also had the honor and considerable pressure of being the first title at Wembley Arena when it reopened after a long period of closure due to the coronavirus pandemic.
The ESS tweeted: “It’s time to say #HelloWembley Once again, we’re back with our first headline tonight: Sh ** ged. Married. Annoyed.”
After the show, Rosie posted a photo of herself on stage watching a large crowd and wrote: “Thank you Wembley for making all of my dreams come true.”
Her husband Chris was there on cloud nine with her and, posting a photo of a crowded Wembley on his Insta grid, he wrote: ” What are the cool kids saying? ‘ About last night ‘”?
“Wembley Arena. Sold out. On their feet at the end. What a night! Thank you very much for being a part of it if you came. We won’t soon forget.”
From Wembley, Chris and Rosie will move to Birmingham, where they will perform two sold-out shows at the Alexandra before taking the stage at another iconic London venue, the Palladium on September 26.
The Sha * ged Married Annoyed National Tour will also take them to Glasgow, York and Manchester in the coming weeks before moving to even larger venues ahead of Christmas, including the O2 Arena.
