Astronaut Chris Hadfield calls alien UFO hype ‘madness’
It seems safe to say that Chris Hadfield probably doesn’t have some sort of X-Recordsdata “I must consider” UFO posters on any of his scores.
On Sunday, the Canadian astronaut, who commanded the Worldwide House Station and recorded the famous, spit fire at or UAP (for “unidentified aerial phenomena” in the new language of the navy) and some forms of extraterrestrial intelligence.
“Obviously, I have seen many problems in the sky that I cannot perceive,” Hadfield, a former Royal Canadian Air Force pilot, said throughout a CBC radio call. “However, to see one thing in the sky that you just don’t perceive, and then instantly conclude that it is the intelligent life of another PV system is the height of insanity and lack of logic.”
The comments arrived weekly after a long-standing news log 60 Minutes broadcast a widely debated segment on UAPs. The spread of Navy footage of such phenomena in recent times has led to a name for greater transparency, and now an unclassified report from U.S. intelligence firms is due to be delivered to Congress next month.
Hadfield added that he assumes that there is undoubtedly life elsewhere in the universe.
“However, so far we haven’t found any evidence of life other than on Earth,” he said, “and we want it.”
