Alicia Silverstone Reveals Which Lifestyle Change Made Her Love Herself in New Passion Project
Alicia Silverstone has revealed through her new passion project that while her journey to self-love has been difficult, she considers going vegan to be a huge factor in loving herself.
On March 10, during the first full episode of his new podcast true healing, Silverstone sat down with licensed clinical social worker Mary Waldon to talk about a plethora of topics, including her journey to self-love.

She said: “My life has changed a lot. I had a lot of trauma and a lot of difficulties and a complex upbringing. All of these things left me – well, whatever you want to call it – I had very little self-esteem, I would say, and very little self-esteem. And so, there I was, this person in the world and in the audience but with very little foundation.
Silverstone also revealed she was brought up to believe that all personal work was seen as ‘selfish’ – but then discovered veganism. “I loved animals so much that I couldn’t bear to eat them. When I made this choice my health changed and now things started to get so much healthier inside of me that I could hear my intuition.
